Taxi Owners

Please remember that it is a criminal offence for a "Taxi to stop elsewhere than at a taxi stand" - and that owners are responsible for making sure their taxis "Must be operated strictly in compliance with the Road Traffic Ordinance" per thier taxi license.

Big buses stopping in front of railings

The bus has been driven past the legal bus stop and then stops in front of the railing where passengers are required to get off. This practice is very dangerous for alighting passengers in particular. When the bus speeds away, there is a chance of alighted passengers being "rolled" between the bus and the railing. Not people being squashed, although this could happen, just spun around by close proximity or contact with the side of the bus.
